NOCHE ZUCCHINI

High yielding and good shelf life. Noche is a dark green, hybrid, spineless, high yielding zucchini that has an open habit making it easy to pick. Fruit reaches 6-8” in 45-50 days. This fruit has a long shelf life, and resistance to Watermelon Mosaic Virus and Zucchini Mosaic Virus.

MELONS

The 2 types we’ve been enjoying growing are Petit Gris de Rennes: This exquisite melon will produce 3 to 4 exceptional tasting fruit in about 85 days. This ‘little grey’ melon can be the silver lining in your gardens taste profile. and Hope Melon: Sweet, cantaloupe-type melon developed at Hope Farm Organics in Prince George. The fruits develop to 2-3 lbs and slips off the vine when ripe. Best grown under cover.

Benning's Green Tint PATTY PAN

Benning's Green Tint is super tender! These plants are great producers and the squash themselves are quite pretty. First developed in 1914. This is a great all around heirloom summer squash variety, adaptable to any home organic garden.

BORAGE

Borage has delicate blue flowers - beautiful to the eyes, refreshing to taste, and loved by bees. This self-seeding annual hails from Syria, but has naturalized through much of Europe. A great addition to the edible flower garden and especially nice in tea or to use for decorating salads, cakes, ice cubes etc.Seeds from Good Earth Farm.

GENOVESE BASIL

This heirloom variety has large, shiny leaves and is excellent in all things, especially pesto. Pinch off growing tips to encourage plants to produce more. Plants will grow to about 24” tall. Seeds from Saanich Organics.

CUCAMELON

These super cute fruit are the size of a large grape. They taste like a cucumber with a hint of citrus. Also called Mexican sour gherkin or Minnesota Mouse Melon. The vines are whimsical and curly, a great plant for kids or decoration, as well as eating of course. Seeds from Good Earth Farm.
